On Jan 6th i meet with the band "Walker Road" For the first show of the New Year at "Hillbilly Heaven Bar & Grill outside the town of Berkley Springs WV. I also got some insights on what the band has in store for the fans this year. When I arrived at the venue on this very cold night the sound guy was setting up for one hell of a show!!!
"Walker Road" is a five piece Hard Rock/Country Rock band based out of Fulton County Pa.

Very shortly after i got there Dylan and Jonnie arrived and and gave me a big warm welcome. These guys are very humbled people. As we talked for a bit Dylan gave me some info on the bands future plans and what the want to accomplish later on this year, I will be sharing some of this info at a later date with everyone but as of now they have alot in the works. and the fans are going to love it.
Soon after we got done chatting they began sound check.
This is one of the only Local bands I have seen that are able to get the crowd pumped during sound check and leaving everyone wanting more.

Walker Road has recently replaced the lead guitarist and bass player. Although the lead guitarist Jonnie Sweger is not completely new to the band he has rejoined them in 2022 and I must say he sounds like he never left the band. his playing is unreal.
John Appleby on bass is the newest member of walker road and he fits right in with these guys. he has character on stage as he gets the fans fired up.
Walker Road hit the stage for the night with some rock classics along with modern country and modern rock. This is one band that can take a dull song and add some juice and edge to it having the crowed love every second of it. The band just added some new led lights to the light show enhancing the mood and elevating the fans intensity.
This is one band you do not want to miss out on. if you see they are playing around your area it is a show you need to go to.
I plan on attending many of Walker Roads shows this year. so come on out enjoy yourself and meet the band. They enjoy every one of the fans and are very easy to talk to.
